# TMEDS — Claims and promotion policy

## Purpose

This policy governs public website copy, ads, social posts, and fundraising language for TMEDS while the product is uncleared.

## Allowed

- Problem statements about IV push timing variability and protocol adherence challenges
- Technical descriptions of intended device function (dock, syringe cradle, timed plunger advance, sensing, audit log)
- Honest regulatory status disclosures
- Requests for R&D support and interest-list signup
- Descriptions of *design goals* (e.g., fail-closed behavior as an engineering objective)

## Not allowed (until clearance/approval and claims review)

- “Saves lives,” mortality reduction, or other clinical outcome guarantees
- “Removes nurse/hospital liability,” “lawsuit-proof,” or similar
- “FDA approved,” “FDA cleared,” “hospital-ready,” or “available for purchase” as a clinical device
- “Fail-safe,” “cannot fail,” “100% reliable”
- Pre-order language that promises shipment of an uncleared device
- Comparative superiority claims against cleared competitors without substantiation and clearance-consistent labeling

## Enforcement

Site copy and Stripe product names are written to match this policy. Marketing materials must be re-reviewed by counsel before commercial launch.
