# TMEDS — Data and payments

## Data we collect

| Hospital interest form | Email, organization, role | Pipeline / updates about development and future pilot eligibility |
| Stripe Checkout | Payment metadata, email you provide | Process donations / reservations; receipts; refund administration |
| Server logs | Payment event summaries (no full card numbers) | Operations and audit |

Card data is handled by Stripe; TMEDS does not store full card numbers on application servers.

## Storage

Waitlist and payment event records may be stored as append-only logs on the application host (`/var/www/tmeds/data` on production). Access is limited to operators of the TMEDS / tuce.app infrastructure.

## Retention

Records are retained as needed for donor/reservation administration, accounting, and legal obligations. Request deletion or correction where applicable: tmeds@tuce.app

## Payments product rules

1. **Donations** — support research, engineering, and regulatory preparation; no device entitlement.
2. **Founding reservation ($250)** — refundable credit toward a future cleared pilot purchase; not a pre-order of an uncleared device.
