TMEDS

Protocol-timed IV push control for standard syringes

Built to reduce timing variability and create a tamper-evident administration record—so teams can follow the order, not guess the clock.

Regulatory status. TMEDS is not FDA cleared or approved. It is not for clinical use and is not for sale as a medical device. Contributions support research, engineering, and regulatory preparation. TMEDS does not eliminate professional or institutional liability.

The problem we are designing for

Many IV medications require a minimum push duration. Manual syringe pushes vary under real floor pressure. TMEDS is a guarded dock concept that accepts commercially available syringes and advances the plunger over a library-constrained duration—with fail-closed interlocks and an audit trail.

We are preparing a regulated medical-device pathway. The product is not available for patient care today.
